I always find it very difficult to describe myself. I have so many different aspects to me that I overwhelm even myself. To start, my name is Marina Di Costanzo and I’m a 21-year-old Rutgers Student. I am majoring in Journalism and Media Studies with a minor in Digital Communication Information & Media. I love to read, binge-watch a good Netflix show (preferably drama, mystery or horror).
I’m Italian and travel to a beautiful little island called Ischia off of the coast of Naples every year to visit friends and family. Last year I had my first glimpse of traveling outside of Italy and the States. I visited Ireland with a few friends and absolutely fell in love. Next, I’m visiting Paris the day after graduation with the same friends. I want to explore the world while I’m still young and immerse myself in as many different cultures as possible.
In addition to traveling, fashion has become one of my newest passions. My mother was an illustrator for Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, so growing up I was always interested in fashion. After getting the chance to intern at Modern Luxury, a fashion magazine in New York, I discovered that I absolutely loved working with high-end brands. It wasn’t a chore to go to work. That’s something I hope to find in my career after college
